House, Papa, Jonah, & Eli

We went up to the house to check on things this afternoon after we saw Uncle E.  We took some shots of the kitchen and the bedrooms because Josh told us that we had not put any pictures of the kitchen or the bedrooms in the blog. Here they are!!

The painters should be starting this week doing the prep work.  We are not sure when the actual painting will begin.  The kitchen cabinets will go in after that, I think.
Master bedroom with our bathtub sitting there.

The master bath ready for tile!!  Maybe they will get to that tomorrow.
We don't know!!!

Pantry in the kitchen

Kitchen from the door at the entrance across from the  garage entrance.

This opening between the kitchen and the greatroom should be great
for having a large group of folks over
and for the boys to play on the porch, so that I can see them.

Upstairs guest room near the laundry room and guest bath

Standing by the lower level guest bedroom door talking to Josh
All the downstairs will be carpeted because it is more cost effective!!!
In other words, it is cheaper!!

Lower level bedroom we were standing beside.
There will be a really nice view from these windows.

other lower level bedroom We may use this as an office as it is not very large.

Steve is in the media room which we could use as a bedroom if we want.
Because of code, our builder cannot call it a bedroom because of the lack of windows.
We can do anything we want with it.

The trim carpenters did a really nice job on the wet bar downstairs.
It will really look good with the doors on the cabinets.

Back up the stairs

The yard is still a work in progress.
We have not heard back from the landscaper yet.
Maybe this week.

It looks much better, but still has a long way to go!!

Papa and the Boys

Today was Steve's birthday so Jennifer and Brian had us over to supper.  We had a really good time celebrating.  These were before supper.  Jennifer has some that will be on Facebook.

Jonah, Papa, & Eli

Eli was cooing and smiling.
He looked as if he was having a conversation with me.
He kept spitting his passy out on purpose, so I would say something and put it back in his mouth.
When we first got there, I was talking to him and he started wiggling like he wanted me to pick him up.  Of course, I did!!
