This is looking at the front of the house. The garage is on the left side.We hope that we have a firm foundation. The brick masons have been working for the past 2 days on the walls for the garage and the front porch. We rode up there today after we got home from church. The men were working, so we didn't stay. We ate supper with Jennifer, Brian, & Jonah and afterwards came back up here.
This is looking into the garage. Jennifer said that it doesn't look big enough for two vehicles, but it is actually several feet wider than our present garage. We hope that we can get both cars in it. Jennifer and Brian hadn't been up here in a while, so it looked like alot had been done.
Jonah loves playing in the back of Steve's truck. He says,"Papa's truck".
The floor trusses are supposed to be delivered tomorrow, I think. Once that gets done and the other framing begins, the concrete lower level walls will be stable enough to fill dirt in the huge gaping areas around the house. Tomorrow evening we go to see the builder to discuss the window color again and the final choice for the entry door. I may be able to put a picture of the door on here. Maybe!!
I imagine your foundation is very firm. Mom - will you post some of the photos that Dad is scanning?
