On to Snoqualmie

The last trip post had us in the Japanese Garden which was a beautiful spot.  We traveled on to North Bend which is southeast of Seattle toward the Cascades.  The drive time was not but about 40 minutes or so.  The cabin where we stayed was on the Snoqualmie River.  In fact, the river was right outside of our doors onto the deck of the house. joanne slept on the couch the first night and kept hearing the river.  She said she was thinking about the river rising which it actually did.   After we unloaded the car,  we went to the grocery store and cooked supper.  Then, we drove up to the Salish Lodge and Spa where Steve's meetings were to be held.  The falls were a beautiful sight.

Snoqualmie River off our porch!!!

At the falls, the evening before Steve's meeting.

A sight to see!!!
We were glad we came this particular evening because Steve told us that the next day when he came for his meeting, the falls were hardly visible.  Such is the weather here.
