Water proofing & Pipes

Water proofing at the front of the house the other night
Steve and I visited the house this evening.  How anything has been done is truly amazing.  At 7:15 this evening, the temperature was a sweltering 98 degrees.  At one point today, the heat index was 113.  Crazy!!! None the less, the water proofing is almost finished and the pipes in the lower level have been laid.  Wow!

Tonight
Steve is checking out the pipes that will be in our lower level bathroom, I think.  The next step will be to clean the floor up and pour the concrete slab for the lower level.  After that, the framing crew will take over and we will have a shape to our house.  Steve and I picked out the exterior colors Wednesday evening at the builder's office at his house.  Dick talked to us first about what we felt that we wanted, then took us to see houses that he had built done in the colors he thought we would like.  We drove him around commenting on different ones until we came to this one house that we thought was absolutely gorgeous.  Steve and I both agreed that was it.  It will be done in taupes to fit into the wooded theme that we like. We do not want any color that is going to jump out at us.  Wish we had a picture of it. Alas, we do not.

Steve is peeking out of his wine cellar.
A Very Important Pipe
Steve said that the pipe seen here is the one that will go to the septic tank!  Important!!!
