Our Seattle Trip June 2011

Our trip to Seattle was busy and so much fun!  Josh took the week off  to spend it with us.  That was the best part!  Joanne went with us too.  She saw parts of the USA she had never seen. We visited several different areas of the state. The first night of our trip we splurged and stayed at the Hyatt downtown Seattle and ate supper at the Virginia Inn.

Josh and Joanne waiting to get on the ferry to Bainbridge Island.  We were going to Port Angeles where we rented a house for two nights.  Josh was our chaffeur because he does this type thing all the time.

We drove right on the ferry, parked, and walked up to the upper deck.  Some folks stay in their cars on the ride over.  As you can see, the weather was a wee bit different from SC's.  We wore our fleece vests, jeans, and jackets most of the week.
